Education
I earned a Master of Architecture in 2015 from the University of Melbourne. My design thesis was chosen as an exemplar, and I was shortlisted for the Bates Smart Graduate Prize. I also earned a Bachelor of Environments from the University of Melbourne in 2013, and a University Technology of Malaysia Diploma of Architecture in 2012. I was given the dean's list award during this time as well.
Experience
I am currently working as a graduate of architecture at Jackson Architecture, based in Melbourne. I graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Melbourne in 2015. My thesis on architecture representation and fiction was chosen as an exemplar by the Melbourne School of Design and was shortlisted for the Australia Institute of Architecture's Bates Smart 2016 Graduate Prize. I have a strong passion for architectural narratives, visual cues, and digital representation in design. I can help students sharpen their conceptual thinking and design representation skills. I have been running private tutorials since 2015 and have worked with ongoing semester-to-semester students as well as casual students. I have worked on a range of projects with Jackson Architecture, from sketch design to construction. I was an architectural intern with Citylab Studio in Kuala Lumpur in January 2014 and an architectural intern with Delia Thescherdoff Architecture in Melbourne in December 2015. I have worked as a workshop tutor at the University of Melbourne and as a private architecture tutor. I also received a Special Mention Award in the PAM LAFARGE Competition in 2012, I have worked as an external reviewer for Studio FIRE, and I was a co-curator for the MSDX Graduation Exhibition in 2015. I was one of the head delegates at the TERANG 2012 Malaysian Architectural Workshop and was the head of multimedia for ARCOUTMKL in Malaysia. As a tutor, My areas of expertise include design concept, 3D modeling, drafting and construction, interior architecture, and conceptual thinking. I am also fluent in the Malay language.
