Private tutoring Maths and Science Year 9 and 10 since 2014. Vietnamese language teaching since 2014. A tutor to me is the one who can guide his or her students in the way that they can solve any problems in their own ways. A tutor can help students building their confidence and understanding how to deal with problems by themselves. A tutor should teach their students work independently and express their ideas in their own ways. With different subjects, we need different methods to study. Maths is unable to master without any practicing solving problems and dealing with challenges. Science and some theoritical subjects need other methods. Memorization of knowledge is nonsense. A tutor should show that the students need to understand what they learn rather than memorizing it. My one and only principle is guiding student to figure out the strength and the weaknesses themselves in order to be better.
