Experience
I have tutored VCE Chemistry for over 10 years. I am a research chemist. My first Chemistry lesson can be traced to 2008 when my daughter, who was in year 12 at the time, struggled to understand several chemistry concepts. From that point, I sat down with her every week, breaking down concepts in a methodical way. She went on to excel in the subject, scoring a 45+ raw study score. This fulfillment motivated me to guide other students to their potential. I have taught Foundations of Chemistry, Chemistry 1/2, Chemistry 3/4, and IB Chemistry. Many students find themselves forced to study Chemistry 3/4 because it's a prerequisite for Medicine. However, under my tutelage, these students discover a passion for Chemistry. Over the past decade, I have developed a flexible teaching style, and I always tailor my lessons around the student's learning styles. Whether a student faces difficulty understanding theory or approaching application questions, I will offer guidance and support throughout the year.
