I hold a degree in Journalism from the Australian National University. I graduated with a distinction average in all of the units I took. I majored in Journalism and minored in Criminology and English Literature.

Experience

I am a freelance creative writer, copywriter, and editor, writing for various websites and blogs. I have a keen eye for detail and writing and editing have always been my strengths. I have tutored in both English and Literature for several years, both during and after my degree was completed; however, I also have a strong knowledge of various areas of history, predominantly World War II, the Holocaust, and the Russian Revolution, as well as geography and legal studies. One of the students I tutored regularly in VCE English and History recently graduated from ANU, Australia's top university, with a high distinction average. My background allowed me to sharpen already strong writing and editing skills that I can pass on to others.

Hobbies

I volunteered an an English Second Language teacher in Cambodia for three months in 2012. The children were between the ages of three and sixteen. It is my ultimate passion and the most fulfilling experience for me- to pass on my knowledge and empower another person to love learning. I also love films, traveling (I have visited 25 countries!) , designing websites (a new skill I am learning), a diverse range of music and meeting new people and hearing their stories.
