I have previously tutored VCE, high school, and primary school aged students in English, mathematical methods, specialty math, and standard mathematics. If your student needs help catching up in middle school or high school math, or has a desire to get ahead of their class, I can work with them one-on-one to understand fundamental concepts and solve problems from different angles. Many students have a distaste for math because they are not taught the right way. I can apply different techniques and learning materials that pertain to their learning style, goals, and interests. I can also go back to earlier principles to strengthen a student's abilities. To make lessons more engaging, can apply the course material to their interests or familiar things in the real world. I'll continue explaining a concept if a student has difficulties, but also make the lesson fun and interesting.
