Education
I completed a bachelor's degree specializing in Physics from the University of Cagliari, Italy in 2012 before going on to complete a master's degree in Physics from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada in 2014. I am currently completing a Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Experience
I have been working as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Melbourne since 2015. Prior to this, I worked as a teaching and research and assistant for a few years at Queen's University in Ontario, Canada. I have previously been the recipient of the 2012 Physics Undergraduate Award for having the highest graduating average and the shortest graduation time in Physics. In addition to all of this I am a native Italian speaker, am fluent in English, have intermediate proficiency in French and Spanish, and have beginner-level proficiency in German. I find teaching highly rewarding, I enjoy helping students who are having difficulties with their studies. It is not just about teaching physics, but also about teaching a way of focusing on the topic being studied and achieving a high level of concentration, which I believe is fundamental for the achievement of high marks.
