For my A-Levels, which is a UK school leaving certificate that is taken prior to university, I obtained an A* for Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. I have completed a master's degree with a specialization in Chemical Engineering with 1st Class Honors, which is the top grade achievable from a UK university.
Experience
I am originally from London and spent the last 4 years in Newcastle in the United Kingdom before recently moving to Melbourne, Australia. My entire university degree was very maths-based, with a lot of differential equations to express different reactors and systems. The writing of my thesis involved using data analysis to analyze the production of pharmaceuticals with bacteria. I am very relaxed and easygoing, and I take the time to explain everything thing fully to my students, always making sure that everything is well understood. I believe that a solid understanding of the subject is always far better than learning everything solely through rote memorization.

Hobbies
Sports are a major passion of mine, both to watch and play. I've probably wasted far too much of my life training for rowing! I've always believed a good balance between academics and extra curricular activities does wonders, it forced me to be very disciplined with my time and gives a great option to let off steam outside the classroom. I am also ABRSM grade 8 on the Cello, but I sadly haven't had a chance to play it in a while.
