I earned First Class Honours with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2014 (3.73 GPA) and my Master of Arts in Psychological Science in 2015 (3.7 GPA), both from University College Dublin. I also possess certificates in Suicide Prevention and Child Protection Awareness.
Experience
I worked as a University Tutor in Psychology while completing my master's, teaching first, second, and final year psychology students. Some of the topics I covered include social psychology, the relationship between the brain and behaviour, essay writing, study skills, proper APA formatting, the psychology of language, and developmental psychology. I acted as a peer mentor and team leader in university as well, supporting incoming students. I've also worked as a Research Assistant mentoring an undergraduate and postgraduate student on a psychology research project in the area of youth mental health, mainly focusing on participant recruitment, data collection, data input, and analysis using SPSS. I possess excellent research skills developed through work on undergraduate and postgraduate projects including submitting a research proposal, an ethics proposal, conducting a literature review, creating both handwritten questionnaires and online surveys using Qualtrics, participant recruitment, and data collection and analysis using SPSS.
