Hey all! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Calvin and you may have seen my tutoring posts hovering around this website. In 2014, I graduated from John Monash Science School with an ATAR of 99.85 including raw scores of 47 in English Language and 50 in Chemistry, subjects I have been tutoring since the end of 2014. My tutoring initiative Evolve Academics is a small, cohesive team of tutors which aims to counteract misconceptions and poor teaching of the VCE and IB. Currently Evolve uses the mediums of individual and group tutoring, but in the future larger scale workshops and events shall be utilised in addition to these. Our organised, professional and confident VCE and IB tutors strive to enhance your results in your final exams. Evolve tutors are not chosen on their high scores, but also on their communication skills, their ability to work to a student's needs and to captivate their attention. Lessons can be run at your house, the tutor's house or a convenient middle ground such as a local library. Most of our tutors are currently located in Melbourne’s east, and some can also travel into the city. Unlike many other tutoring organisations, we allow to pay however you like, through cash, bank transfer or otherwise, and we would never force you to commit to a certain number of lessons.
