Education
I have a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of South Australia as well as a Diploma in Financial Planning and a Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Brokering Management from the Kaplan Institute. I have also completed my SACE schooling.
Experience
I spent time at university tutoring first year and international students in communications and writing. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to appreciate the education I have by allowing me to give something back. I have seen the difference a tutor can make to a student's educational experience as I worked with a tutor myself while at university. I am very patient when helping people as I grew up in a family business that required me to learn patience at a very young age. I have a very calm and approachable nature, and I am able to connect with any student as I am exposed to people of different cultures through my work, family, and friend circles every day. Since university, I have worked extensively in sales as a financial planner, bank manager, and a senior lender for a Big 4 Bank. I currently work for the government in a business development role. This has taught me how to build and maintain professional relationships through strong communication skills and technical abilities.
