Education
I earned my Bachelor of Psychological Science with honours and a minor in Life Sciences from LaTrobe University where I was on the Dean's Honours List for three years in a row, part of the Golden Key Honours Society, and received a Dux of Psychology in 2006 and a Dux for my third-year Research Methods. I also have a Quality Improvement for Healthcare Certificate from LaTrobe University. I have a Management Diploma from Child Youth and Family Services and Graduate Certificate in Forensic Mental Health from Griffith University. I have also completed my Ph.D. in Clinical and Forensic Psychology at Swinburne University.
Experience
I have experience as a postgraduate psychology and nursing tutor and as an undergraduate psychology tutor for students at LaTrobe University. I trained medical and nursing graduates in quality systems, appraising evidence in research, collaborative patient care, and more. I have experience across a wide range of subject areas in human services, disability, mental health, women's health, aged care, youth, perinatal health, forensic behavioural science, and risk assessment. I'm also an experienced teacher and published researcher.
