Education

I have a bachelor's degree in veterinary medical sciences from Alexandria University in Egypt. While attending the University of Glasgow in the UK, I earned my master's degree in research in medical and veterinary microbiology. I am also a Ph.D. researcher at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Centre of Micro-photonics.

Experience

I have worked as a research assistant at The Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Australia, Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre in the UK, and as an intern at The Beatson Institute for Cancer Research. In addition, I have contributed to several medical publications. Subjects I can provide one-on-one tutoring in include biology, cell biology, microbiology, molecular biology, developmental biology, and molecular genetics. My teaching abilities allow me to explain concepts in simpler ways and help students relate to their course material. I can start at any level and stay on topic until you grasp a concept. My lessons are fully personalized and you can ask questions at any time during the process. I can assist in a course topic or specific problem, as well as apply familiar real-world concepts to help you better understand the material and how it applies to your life and/or goals.
