I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Commerce at the University of Melbourne.
Experience
I have completed AMUSA and grade 6 music theory. I provide lessons for beginner to intermediate-level violin students, whether they are interested in learning for leisure or exam purposes. I am an easy-going and patient instructor who understands the challenges that come with learning the violin. I have a strong grasp of music theory, which I can teach to others. I can help students improve their understanding of compositional elements, such as tempo, chords, key signatures, as well as musical qualities like pitch, dynamics, and texture. My students can perform for me, allowing me to offer feedback on their bow hold or bowing techniques. We can discuss proper finger placement on the fingerboard or dive into the basics behind composing a piece. If my student needs to learn a specific piece for class, we can spend time working on that.
