I have a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, and am a registered pharmacist in Bangladesh. Currently, I am working toward my master's degree in biotechnology and bioinformatics at La Trobe University.
Experience
I have been tutoring for over 6 years, teaching subjects such as English, biology, and chemistry. I am also able to cover 5th and 6th grade reading, writing, and science as well as writing up to the 8th grade level. Cell biology is another subject I can focus on. In some areas, I can provide assistance to students as young as kindergarten age. I am described as easy going and friendly. This enables me to put the student at ease and tailor one-on-one lessons to their areas of greatest concern. Each student learns differently, so I can apply different methods to help them improve upon their knowledge, skills, and confidence. Relating the subject matter to their lives is an effective way to motivate young students, and this is what I try to do with each topic.
