Education
I earned my bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and my master's degree in Biochemistry. I completed my Ph.D. at the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at Deakin University in Burwood. My research was mainly on understanding the development and maintenance of muscle mass and the function and health of skeletal muscles. I was the recipient of the prestigious Deakin University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (DUPRS).
Experience
I have two years of research and teaching experience at Yeungnam University in South Korea. It was a project specifically for the most meritorious scientific researchers. I currently work as a tutor and demonstrator for Biochemistry and Biochemical Metabolism subjects at Deakin University. I taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to 11th and 12th standard students in India for more than two years. I enjoy disseminating and spreading to others what I have learned and understood. Teaching Biology and Biochemistry has been of great interest to me since my years in school.
