I have a bachelor's degree in music from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I graduated in 2015. There, I studied music history from all eras, especially renaissance and Baroque. Before that, I graduated from Immaculate Heart High School with honors in 2011.
Experience
I am an experienced teacher and tutor. I have experience with both group and one-on-one instruction. Not only did I perform well in my undergraduate classes, but I supplemented my education with some doctoral-level courses when available and a high amount of performance classes where I put my skills into practice. Now, I tutor music, music theory, and AP Music Theory. Private tutoring is an excellent resource for all types of students, including those who have fallen behind in their studies and those seeking to be challenged with higher-level material and concepts. I can break difficult concepts down into smaller, more manageable parts. Then, I can help you through each part until you are ready to move on to the next one.
