Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia
Education
I graduated from MacRobertson Girls High School in 2013 with an ATAR of 98.25 and a Premier's Award (raw score 49) in Italian. I also scored highly in English (47) and Literature (43), two of my favorite subjects. I completed my bachelor's degree in microbiology last year at Monash University with minors in physiology, anatomy, and zoology. Now, I am majoring in medicine.
Experience
Last year I completed an elective subject called the Schools Science Project, for which I earned a high distinction. The course entailed developing and applying a science program for primary school students, focusing on hands-on learning and creative thinking. I challenged myself by teaching independently in a dynamic classroom environment, and I found the experience to be immensely rewarding. I have also tutored one-on-one, and I have experience with primary, secondary, and mature-age students in various subjects. I have broad experience in the life sciences and have achieved high distinctions across various subjects, including physiology, zoology, medical microbiology, bacterial pathogenesis, and developmental biology.

Hobbies
I love animals, and have volunteered extensively with the RSPCA and several veterinary clinics over the course of several years. I am also considering a career in medicine, which has inspired me to develop my teaching abilities and knowledge of biology, and led me to volunteer at the Alfred Hospital. I am passionate about literature and the arts: I try to read widely and visit art galleries whenever possible. Some of my favourite books include Frankenstein, Gulliver's Travels and Harry Potter.
