Education
I completed my VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) with an ATAR of 94.55. I earned high scores in Psychology, Japanese, English Literature, and Mathematical Methods. I then earned my bachelor's degree in Building Design from the RMIT University.
Experience
I have almost three years of experience tutoring Japanese to students interested in the culture and language. At this stage, I speak Japanese fluently, can read and write the in language proficiently, and am taking the N2 level JLPT test at the end of this year. I have a passion for language and want to share this with people who want to improve their English or Japanese skills from a variety of starting levels. I completed Japanese (Second Language) as a VCE subject in 2015 and received a study score of 39 (scaled 46) and English Literature receiving a study score of 37 (scaled 38). I also have experience teaching younger children writing and reading English as well as experience working in a childcare centre.
