Education
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics, a Diploma of Modern Languages in German, and a Master of Teaching degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in German and English as secondary languages from the University of Melbourne. I also hold a TESOL Certificate Level III and a B2 Level French Certificate from Lyon Bleu International.
Experience
I have extensive experience tutoring German from junior high to the university level. I have also tutored from time to time in French, Chinese, and English for international students. I enjoy being able to give students more individual attention in a stress-free environment, and with the Michel Thomas Method, they will either learn or consolidate the fundamental skills they need to excel in a language. I hold VIT registration and have taught German at some of Melbourne's finest state schools including McKinnon Secondary College and Viewbank College. I also recently taught for one year in London, teaching French and Spanish at different schools, and was also able to conduct private tutoring for French and German.
