Nathan M.
Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia
Education
I hold a 2:1 Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, which is the equivalent to a Distinction in an undergraduate degree. I studied at the University of Sussex. I achieved an A-grade in the A-Level Mathematics and GCSE Mathematics exams. I have completed a four-week teaching course which includes 10 hours of assessed teaching.
Experience
I tutored 15 students between 12 and 18 years old studying KS3, GCSE, and A-level Maths. By carefully identifying weaker areas, adapting my teaching approach to different learning styles, and creating and modifying appropriate resources, I have been able to help students consistently improve their grades. I gained multiple new private tuition clients from personal recommendations. I organized and taught a Maths intervention program to groups of up to four KS3 and GCSE students in a secondary school. I was proactive in filling my free periods by acting as a teaching assistant, where I observed many teaching techniques.
