I am a 21 year old student currently studying Bachelor of Primary Education (Honours) at Monash University. I received an ATAR of 92.75 in 2013. Over the duration of my course, I have been actively involved in teaching placements at primary schools in Melbourne. I am passionate about educating young students, because I enjoy seeing their progress throughout each lesson and throughout the year. My goal is to be able to assist the student most in concepts that they find the most difficult to understand. My approach is to ensure the student has a thorough understanding of the underlying concepts before we start introducing more complex problems. As I am studying to become a qualified Primary School Teacher, I try to incorporate as many interactive and engaging activities I can into the tutoring session. At a primary school level, I have discovered that students find it much easier if mathematics is presented visually. I was born in Australia and have lived here my whole life. English is my native language (speaking and writing). I currently hold a WCC. I am located in Glen Waverley, however I am willing to travel up to 20 minutes at your convenience.
