Education
I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne in 2013. I then earned my Graduate Diploma of Science in Genetics with H1 Honours from the same university in 2015. I went on to earn my master's degree in Biomedical Science with H1 Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2017. I received the Helen R. Freeman Scholarship for Merit.
Experience
I have experience tutoring students in genetics subjects including Principles of Genetics, Genetics and the Evolution of Life, Genes and the Environment, Experiments in Genetics, Foundations of Genetics, Cells and Genes, and Molecular Biology and Genetics. I have also tutored high school students in Biology. I have been tutoring students for five years, focusing on visual and practical learning rather than rote learning. Having completed university studies, I found that my learning has greatly deepened, and I have witnessed how discoveries have been utilised in real-life situations. Through this newfound information, I attempt to inspire students, showing them how this knowledge is currently being used. I truly believe that genuine interest is the key to learning, and through my tutoring, I hope to achieve this.
