I have a Bachelor Degree in Systems Engineering and am currently an engineering PhD student at Monash University. Though I am a New Zealander, I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Bremen, Germany, where I achieved a GPA of 1,76 (between 85%-90%).
Experience
I have years of tutoring experience at university level and have been tutoring high school subjects for about half a year now. My degree has given me a firm grounding in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science, all of which I can tutor very comfortably to about first year university level. I enjoy tutoring as it gives me the opportunity to help students achieve that "click" moment - there is nothing more satisfying than helping someone understand a difficult concept. Having been at school myself not too long ago, I can remember the difficulties of most subjects, as well as the best way to overcome them. I have three years of work experience at a prestigious robotics research laboratory, six months of research experience at Monash university and several publications.

I am an avid traveller, love to play guitar, go sailing surfing or rock climbing and tending my vegetable garden. I am very "outdoorsy" and am a member of Search and Rescue Victoria. I am relatively well-read and have a good general knowledge, my biggest interest outside of my field of research being history and geography.
