Education
I finished VCE in Melbourne with an ATAR of 90.20. I am currently studying at the University of Melbourne with a double major in Architecture and the Environment. I also hold a valid Working with Children Check certificate.
Experience
I was born in China and emigrated to Australia at the age of 14, so I'm fluent in both Chinese and English. I understand Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, allowing me to help students with both versions of my native language. I can help you with every element of Chinese including the brushstrokes that go into writing Chinese characters, the particulars of sentence structure, and how tense is conveyed. I have teaching experience as an introductory piano instructor for primary school students, so I know how to communicate with children. I enjoy working with children because they make life more interesting. If your student is interested in Chinese, I look forward to working with them!
