Education
I graduated 2014 with an ATAR of 99.55, and a raw French score of 48. In 2018 I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Gender Studies and minoring in History, as well as a Diploma in Languages (French). I am currently undertaking Honours study in French and Gender Studies, and will be writing my thesis in French. As part of my BA, I spent a year studying at the prestigious Paris Institute of Political Sciences (Sciences Po), where I graduated with a Certificat en humanités et sciences sociales.
Experience
I have years of experience tutoring VCE French and French conversation. I attained a study score of 48 (raw) in French and hence thoroughly understand the study design, SAC, exam and oral exam requirements. I am passionate about the French language and wish to help others improve their skills. I understand how daunting the VCE oral exam is and I want to help allay any fears through preparation and confidence. Being a native English speaker who has learnt French through high school, I understand the learning process and the difficulties that native French tutors do not. I have many tricks for learning and retaining grammar points, vocabulary and fluency, as I have in the past worked towards these myself. Along with French, I am confident tutoring Gender Studies, History subjects and most other humanities.
