Experience
Prior to teaching, I worked in some of the world's leading organisations in both Europe and Australia. I changed my career to teaching as I wanted to help others to develop, succeed and build confidence. I have discovered that I love teaching and I have received excellent feedback from my students. I find the experience of building a student's skills and confidence extremely rewarding. I currently teach a range of subjects at the Bachelor and Diploma levels at Swinburne University within the areas of business, personal effectiveness, professional development and professional communication. In all subjects I teach, I focus on improving students' academic writing skills. As well as teaching group classes at University, I also provide individual tutoring at the Diploma and Bachelor levels to help others develop their academic writing and essay skills. I am particularly skilled at essay writing and editing. This is evidenced by achieving the top grade at Monash University during my Honours year. I am passionate about helping others improve their writing, study and career skills.

While I focus on achieving top results, I am passionate about balancing this with an emotionally intelligent and caring approach. I aim to be an energising and engaging tutor that motivates, inspires and builds skills and confidence. I appreciate the importance of adapting tutoring to diverse individual learning styles. I am a clear communicator with an ability to articulate new or difficult concepts clearly and creatively. I also hope to build a student's enjoyment of learning. I found that I personally started to love learning once my skills and confidence grew and I hope to do this for others. When I am not working, I enjoy bushwalking and trying new foods. I also enjoy learning new things about physical and mental health and implementing these in my own life.
