Education

Graduated from Scotch College, where I studied on a full music-academic scholarship, with a perfect ATAR of 99.95. I have received the following study scores for VCE: English Language (50), Mathematical Methods CAS (50), Physics (50), Specialist Maths (45), Chemistry (44) and Music Performance (46). I am currently studying Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University.

Experience

I have tutored and done quality checking work at QS School at Box Hill, so I have experience in teaching students efficiently and proactively so that they will achieve the very best during their stressful VCE period. Furthermore, I have gained a 96 percentile for the 2016 UMAT. My aim is to ensure that students are learning in a quick and versatile manner, teaching them how to self-study and how to cope with exams and exam stress. As I have received a full music-academic scholarship to Scotch College, I have a lot of experience myself in studying from an early age, and I hope to implement what I have learnt, and the techniques that are imperative for learning to my students. I believe that starting early is important, and having a broad knowledge of various subjects is useful from the beginning, and so I teach my students to think actively and with an open mind, allowing them to achieve their own goals and aspirations. Hence, I focus on a broad range of students, from a wide range of subjects, tutoring from the brinks of high school (Year 7) to the final years (Year 12).

Hobbies

I enjoy playing three instruments - cello, oboe and piano - in my past time and one of my hobbies is to travel around performing concerts and competing in competitions on the international stage, where I have won several awards, including a 3rd prize at the 2015 Gillet-Fox Oboe International Competition that was held in Tokyo, Japan. I have taught several students music and I have loved teaching them, motivating them to strive for the best and to enjoy what they are doing. All students are different and I hope to find what suits the best for each student.
