I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at California State University Channel Islands with a 3.5 GPA. I also earned CELTA certification at San Francisco's St. Giles University.
Experience
I want to be a tutor because I have a passion for teaching English and love to use my knowledge of the language to help others pursue their educational and professional goals. I have two years of experience teaching ESL/ELL classes to students of all ages and ability levels. I also have 1-on-1 tutoring experience, so I'm comfortable with any group size you're looking for. I can help you prepare for advanced English tests like the Cambridge suite of assessments, the TOEFL, and the IELTS, or I can help you with your conversational English. Your needs will always dictate the focus of our meetings. I am very open to doing and learning new things so if you have suggestions let me know!
