Achieving academic excellence is a lot more than just simply grinding every day, it's all about having the right mindset, passion, and willpower. I studied on my own time and the results just came naturally. I am currently a Physics major at Melbourne University.

Hello, my name is Alfred and I am looking to tutor mathematics and science for high school and first-year university students. I have more than three years of tutoring experience comprised of 1-on-1 meetings and group sessions, allowing me to accommodate your or your student's specific needs. I provide professional lesson notes and supplementary exercises to help my students study between sessions and design customized learning plans for every student. I also offer emotional support and motivation to help my pupils unlock their full educational potential. My teaching style is based on modern research that deviates from the ineffective classroom setting's emphasis on rote learning and just learning how to do problems repetitively for exams. That approach generally leaves students uninspired, bored, and most importantly not appreciative of the beauty and power of science and mathematics outside the classroom.
