I earned my Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mathematics at the University of Melbourne. I studied for my Ph.D. in Mathematics at Northwestern University.
Experience
I am a long-time mathematician with a lot of experience teaching in classrooms and 1-on-1 settings. I was a private tutor in Melbourne for seven years and spent four years tutoring university classes at all levels at Northwestern University in Illinois. I also lectured mathematics classes at Northwestern University for two quarters. I can tutor students in 10th through 11th math and calculus 1 through 3 and physics. I have a solid understanding of the material through my academic pursuits, allowing me to share my expertise with others. I know how to break the concepts down into easy-to-understand ideas. We can go over homework assignments, as well as prepare for upcoming assessments and exams. In addition, I can help students build problem-solving, critical thinking, and other valuable academic skills.
