Education
I graduated from the Mac Robertson Girls High School, completing VCE English, Literature, Maths Methods, Biology, and Philosophy and Renaissance Italy with an ATAR of 99. I then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English and History at Monash University. I have also completed a graduate diploma of teaching (secondary) and a Master of Teacher (Secondary) degree, both at the University of Melbourne.
Experience
I am an experienced secondary school teacher who is teaching in a co-educational school at the moment which is based in the eastern region of the city of Melbourne. I have experience working as a teacher in both the classroom and one-on-one settings with students ranging from the Year 7 to the Year 12 level of study. I also have experience teaching at government and independent schools, as well as having extensive experience working with students from diverse backgrounds with a variety of learning needs. I specialize in English, literature, EAL, history, and humanities, all up to the VCE level. I also have worked with many Year 12 students on Psychology and Health and Human Development. My graduate degree has given me the opportunity to gain a wealth of pedagogical knowledge on how to make learning more engaging and accessible to students. I am warm, friendly, patient, and more than happy to approach teaching in the way that best suits the student.
