I am currently doing a double degree in Mechatronics Engineering and Science (Mathematics and Physics majors) at Monash University and I am in my final year.
Experience
I started these classes after seeing the struggles and low confidence so many students have with mathematics. Being a mathematics major nearing the end of my degree at Monash University, I have had the time to develop sound philosophies in learning the subject. I aim to combine both traditional teaching techniques with new university teaching methods. In addition, I believe in tailoring classes to each student to ensure they build confidence and get the most out of my lessons. My view is that the pursuit of tutoring should not be to simply have a student reliant on their teacher but, to also give the gift of being able to teach themselves. I have had more than two years of experience in Maths tutoring at all levels at three independent companies as well as privately. I have a Working with Children Check and I am happy to provide references of past students and companies I have worked for.
