Education
I completed my high school diploma in SACE at Marryatville High School in 2006 before going on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in microbiology, immunology, and genetics at the University of Adelaide, which I completed in 2015. I then went on to complete a master's degree specializing in middle and secondary teaching at Flinders University in 2017.
Experience
I first discovered my passion for teaching as an undergraduate student, when I fell in love with the exploration of knowledge in the scientific field. Ever since then, I have been devoted to teaching, even going on to pursue postgraduate studies in teaching. Throughout this period I was able to learn a lot about what makes a quality and successful teacher. I have been consistently working as a full-time teacher since 2018. I first worked at IQRA College in O'Halloran Hill in South Australia, and am currently teaching on a full-time basis at Strathmore Secondary College in Pascoe Vale, Victoria. In addition to this, I have been working as a tutor for 4 years now, providing additional academic support to a few students every year. My qualifications have enabled me to become skilled in many different teaching techniques and strategies that accommodate all learning styles, which I use with all of my students. I am qualified to teach the Australian Curriculum, Victorian Curriculum, SACE, and VCE mathematics and science subjects.
