I have a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Melbourne, with a major in economics and finance, and am currently in my honors year in economics.
Experience
I have extensive experience in tutoring, having worked at a secondary school as a student aid for 3 years. During that time, I tutored mostly students with special needs in helping them learn math. I can cater my tutoring style to the needs of the student in order to get the most out of them. I feel that the best way to give something of yourself is to teach and tutor students. I can cover any topic in 1st through 11th grade math as well as microeconomics. A wide range of strategies can be tried to help a student understand a concept. If someone doesn't understand a concept right away, I am willing to repeat it as many times as necessary until they start to grasp it. The student's progress is my priority and I enjoy seeing them learn and succeed.
