Hanna J.
Private tutor in Melbourne, Australia
Education
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Melbourne where I earned a GPA of 6.9/ 7. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Deakin University.
Experience
I have a wealth of previous experience as a tutor. I tutored indigenous students in years 7-12 at Scotch College in Melbourne in English, the humanities, mathematics, biology, and chemistry. I also volunteered as a tutor for primary and secondary students at a school in Richmond. I currently tutor individual students in a one-on-one setting who are working on first-year university science subjects. I am currently an AIME (Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience) tutor. My past and current students have come from a variety of backgrounds and learning levels. I enjoy being a tutor because I love working one-on-one with individuals to help them achieve a quality level of learning. I find tutoring both stimulating and rewarding. My year 12 subjects included English, Mathematical Methods, Biology, Chemistry, Australian Politics, and Health and Human Development. Throughout my university degree, I covered many aspects of human biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and psychology.

Hobbies
I am a second year medical student at Deakin University. My main hobbies include exercising such as team sports including Netball and Basketball and participation in a cross country club. I additionally enjoy reading, in particular fantasy and science fiction novels. As a tutor I enjoy working one on one with students and centre the session around areas the student wishes to cover. Generally I recommend a 1-2 hour session, weekly.
