Education
I earned a Certification in Teaching of Italian as a Foreign Language from the University of Venice in 2008. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages with distinction from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. I also have a Master of Arts in Migration Studies from the University of Sussex. I completed a Teaching Italian as a Second Language to Illiterate Students Training Course in 2009, and a Teaching and Learning Italian as a Second Language Training Course as well.
Experience
I have more than fifteen years of experience in education. Three of those years of experience as a teacher have taught Italian as a foreign language to all ages and levels. Italian is my native language, and I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I also speak French at an intermediate level. I am an author of educational guides and research pieces with the British Council and the International Organization for Migration. I love teaching. I am friendly and patient and have a passion for empowering students to improve their Italian and get more confident about their abilities.
