I am currently an undergraduate student studying nursing at La Trobe University.
Experience
I have 3 years of experience tutoring in both the Edexcel and Cambridge curricula. I can tutor biology, chemistry, and physics subjects to students in any grade. Students often appreciate my uplifting spirit of teaching and positive attitude towards the learning process. The methodology I use is to explain concepts with practical real-world examples to demonstrate their meaning. This helps the student relate to the subject matter and become motivated to learn more about a complex principle. I can explain a concept in great detail, but if a student still doesn't understand it, I can talk about it from a different angle or use a different teaching strategy and/or example. One-on-one tutoring enables me to be flexible and apply many different techniques and materials, in order to help each individual student become more confident in reaching for their goals.
