Experience
I am a native Mandarin speaker with excellent English skills. I can tutor students in VCE Chinese as a First Language. In addition, I can work with 5th and 6th-grade students on mathematics topics. My sessions center on my student's needs. If I am providing language lessons for students interested in learning Mandarin Chinese, I focus on building up their speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills. I might guide them through practice conversations to help them work on their accent or practice producing fluid and coherent sentences about daily tasks. We can prepare for tests as well. Alternatively, a math student may benefit from working on fundamental concepts to improve their ability to build upon these ideas. Math is linked across each level, which makes a thorough understanding invaluable to success in future coursework.
