Education
I earned my bachelor's degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the Alma Mater Studiorum Universita di Bologna in Italy. I then did my thesis research at Deakin University and did an exchange and internship at the University of Melbourne. I then earned my master's degree in Specialised Translation from the Alma Mater Studiorum Universita di Bologna.
Experience
I already have significant teaching experience in Australia. I am currently working as an Italian and Spanish teacher in a number of high schools and language centres in Melbourne. I've also worked at Il Globo, the Italian Newspaper of Australia, as a proofreader and sub-editor. I am available to tutor students of all ages and ability levels in Spanish, Italian, and English. I can tutor beginning students in the basic vocabulary and simple conversation skills in each language. I can tutor more advanced learners on their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills and hold conversations with them so they can practice fluency in the language.
