Education
I earned a BA in Anthropology and Social Theory with a minor in Gender Studies from Melbourne University. Before that, I graduated from Genazzano FCJ College, Kew with a score of 96.25 that ranked in the top 4 percent of the state. I'm currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Studies at Melbourne. I attended Kitty O'Kane's art workshop (2007-2009) specializing in mixed media, oil painting, water colours, and charcoals and also hold TESL certification.
Experience
I would love to continue tutoring as I find it a particularly rewarding experience. I find that it really compliments classroom studies as it allows students to voice any difficulties or problems they are having. Personally, I find tutoring stimulating for my own studies, especially when students begin to grow their own interests in their chosen subjects. I have been tutoring VCE students in History, English, and Psychology since 2008. I also served as a volunteer English teacher at Himachal Pradesh in India back in 2010, a kindergarten teacher at Kalimpong, India, and as an instructor at the weekly "Friday Night Tutoring" program. Furthermore, I have volunteered at the Kew Community and Learning Centre, Mother of God Primary School, and the Yarralee Nursing Home, giving me experience working with students of all ages.
