Education
I was a Ph.D. research scholar at Monash University. I earned my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. I also have a Master of Science in Remote Sensing and Geo-information. During this time, I studied hazards and disaster management and specialized in hydrometeorology and a Master of Science in Natural Resource Management specializing in remote sensing and GIS. Finally, I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honors.
Experience
I have extensive experience, including supervising an undergraduate research trainee from May to August of 2016. During this time, I mentored a final year engineering undergraduate student's research project on water level extraction from remote sensing data. From September of 2012 through August of 2013, I advised 6 first-year students on academic concerns and subject-related problems such as ideal places to apply for thesis and internships. From 2011 to 2012, I worked for a high school tutoring program. During this time, I tutored two high school students in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. From 2004 to 2007, I tutored underprivileged street children in English and mathematics.
