I am currently completing a Bachelor of Education degree majoring in LOTE: Vietnamese and Maths at Victoria University. I also hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 7.0.
Experience
I am a student teacher from Vietnam with a passion for learning languages and I would love to be able to pass this enthusiasm on to other people, including you! My current studies specializing in education allow me to go on placement twice a year which has given me the opportunity to gain a lot of experience teaching young learners for prep to Year 9. I would like to gain further experience in the education field by working as a tutor. I am also a native Vietnamese speaker and therefore have a lot of knowledge about my language and culture that I would love to share with young Australians. With my energetic and creative teaching approach, I believe that I can help you to love learning languages as much as I do. I am available on the weekends to provide tutoring sessions to students from the beginner to the advanced level. In addition to Vietnamese, I can also provide tutoring sessions for students in maths from the prep to Year 9 levels of study, as well as English as an Additional Language for students who come from a non-English speaking background.
