I have worked with several students in mathematics and accounting subjects. I enjoyed teaching my students and they enjoyed our sessions as well. My approach as a tutor is to bring balance to their studies by incorporating practical uses for the concepts and skills they are learning, which can make it easier for the information to stick. I can tutor students in math from as early as the first grade to some college-level topics, such as accounting. I use a flexible teaching style that can easily adapt to suit my student's learning tendencies. For instance, they may find it easier to understand statistical analysis by tackling real-world scenarios. Alternatively, I can work with students using visual cues to go over specific formulas and demonstrate ways to use them. If my student is struggling to grasp a concept, we can break it down to the most fundamental idea and go from there.
