Education
I completed a Diploma of Health Science at MIBT. I also completed a Personal Training course. I earned my Bachelor of Health Science from Deakin University where I majored in Psychology and Family, Health, and Society. I then earned my Master of Counseling and Psychotherapy from the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP).
Experience
I have experience working at a high school as a therapist for the Wellbeing team. Having experienced and observed the workload that students are faced with, I can confidently say that I am fully aware of the challenges that arise and what is academically expected by teachers. I have experience working with NDIS clients as their support coordinator. I have also volunteered in the past as a mentor for a social inclusion program working with disadvantaged individuals. I do have a Working With Children check. I am available to tutor students in human development and psychology courses and can help college-bound students prepare for the CLEP exam in Introductory Psychology.
