Education
I have a bachelor's degree in foreign languages and literature, and a master's degree in comparative literature, from the University of Bologna. I also have a Ph.D. in film and media studies from Monash University.
Experience
I have been teaching Italian at the Italian Cultural Institute and privately since 2015, but had worked as an Italian teacher and intercultural facilitator before that at a school for migrants in Italy. Having worked as a Teaching Associate since 2014, I can focus on developing your essay writing and study/research skills. When working one-on-one, I can provide expert advice and guidance in drafting essay contentions and structures, using relevant scholarly sources, and correcting drafts of your work. I can also assist in developing methods and strategies that will help you in developing better organizational skills and time management, thus ensuring that you can reach for your educational goals. In addition, I have tutored in arts and film and TV studies.
