I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree through the University of California and the University of Cape Town in 2016, with a GPA of 3.8, graduating in the top 5% of the class. At the moment I am completing a Master of International Development degree at Monash University in Australia.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to read my profile! My name is Jake, and I graduated with high honors and specialize in U.S. and world history, writing, English, and literature. However, I also am very knowledgeable on subjects in science such as biology and environmental science, politics, economics, and Spanish. I am very flexible and willing to accommodate your busy schedules. My main goal as a tutor is to equip my students with the tools and strategies they need to improve not only in their courses but in their confidence as well. I am an experienced tutor and mentor. As a tutor, I am organized, patient, accommodating, and have well-established communication and tutoring skills. Although I was a history major, I have extensive experience in reading, writing, primary school maths, and sciences, as well as helping students improve reading, writing, studying, and testing skills.
