I am currently studying in my second year of a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, with a high distinction (H1) average and a keen interest in the sciences. In Year 12 (VCE), I achieved an ATAR of 99.75, having studied English (50), Biology (46), Legal Studies (45), Chemistry (41), and Latin (39).
Experience
Having tutored many friends and acquaintances in English, Biology, and Chemistry, I have discovered tutoring is more than merely instructing someone how to apply formulae for success, but to nurture within them a love for the work they are creating and encourage them to enjoy themselves along the way. I understand the need, also, for a balance between study and relaxation, and will encourage and develop an inner motivation to succeed without being forceful and demanding with workloads. I realize that each student learns in their own unique way so I adjust my tutoring style to match each individual student's needs.
